Strabo Partners Price Plus

Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a robust ERP built to help businesses grow and increase operations efficiency. The pricing management functionality within Microsoft Dynamics 365 leaves something to be desired. Strabo Price Plus is built to take the existing trade agreement functionality to the next level by giving customers greater flexibility for their pricing, discount, and charge needs.

Pricing and Charges Based On Your Criteria

Pricing and Charges Based On Your Criteria

Select the Fields You Need

If you’ve used trade agreement journals in the past, you know you are somewhat limited on your criteria to price against. The main trade agreement setup is built for account selections and item relations. Even with account selection, you are limited to the sales customer, not the invoice customer in the base Microsoft Dynamics 365 functionality.

With Strabo Price Plus you have the ability to set user configurable criteria to select the fields you need for driving your pricing, vastly expanding the data you can use beyond what standard Dynamics 365 Trade Agreements allow. This selection criteria is configurable for procurement (purchase orders), sales orders, discounts, and multi-line discounts. In addition you can set a priority within your selection criteria giving more weight to an invoice account code or by sales group, the options are endless!

Greater Tracking and Traceability

Ever wonder how you ended up with a certain sales price and have to spend time tracking back trade agreements, discounts, and more to figure out your price? With Strabo Price Plus, there are built in tools to immediately see what pricing and discount records were selected right on the sales order. Price Plus also gives users the ability to see other pricing records that could have been used or pending price changes giving CSRs the ability to validate new pricing before taking it live. This functionality exists for purchase orders as well so users are able to trace back a purchase price the same way.

With Price Plus’ robust traceability features on the purchase order and sales order, users can quickly see the total discount amount on order and what discount records were applicable to the order. Users are also able to track down orders using a specific pricing record within the system.

For better tracking, Price Plus includes the ability to give unique names to each of your pricing groups. While trade agreements did allow for journal names, Price Plus takes this much deeper giving users better ability to sort and filter using the new pricing name functionality. Users can quickly find pricing for a specific item, price group, or discount group by coming up with better pricing names.

Increased Flexibility

A common issue Strabo has seen when working with customers on trade agreements is dealing with units of measure. Today when a user goes to create trade agreement they have to make sure they take units of measure into consideration. In Price Plus, your pricing record may be in any unit of measure and users may use a different price unit of measure. Price Plus utilizes the UOM conversions on a released product to give users the flexibility to sell in different units without the need to create trade agreements for each separate unit of measure. This is the case for purchasing and sales – Strabo understands sourcing products may me buying in many different units of measure.

Price Plus was built with flexibility to get a customer price however needed in mind from the very start. Part of this flexibility includes new “attributes” on the item code inside the product information management module to give customers the ability to price with these new attributes. Other flexible features include robust data entities for all of Price Plus to make it easier to pull pricing out of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management and into whatever external app is needed.

Order Charge Stacking

Charge Hierarchy

While Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations has the ability to create auto charges, there is still a lot left to be desired. A common request Strabo sees in the marketplace is the ability to stack charges together. With Price Plus users can configure the system to include the value of charges in the calculation of other charges. As with pricing, there is also increased tracking and tracing so users can reference detailed charge history to see exactly what charges were used on orders.

These charge hierarchies and auto charge functionalities exists across both purchase and sales as well header and purchase order lines and sales order lines.
