PIM Feature: Product Inventory Locations

Introducing the newest feature of Product Desk: Product inventory location management! With this new feature, you can now use Product Desk to manage your product inventory on-hand across multiple locations. In this post we’ll explore the different elements of the new Product Inventory feature and how you can make it work for you.

Setting up Inventory Locations

To get started with the product inventory feature, create your inventory locations from the Inventory locations page accessed from the main navigation menu. Once your locations are setup, you can start adding product inventory.

 

 

Product inventory can be viewed, created and edited in multiple ways. The new Product Inventory page gives you a general overview of all product inventory across all inventory locations.

The Inventory location details page allows you to view and edit product inventory at that specific location.

You can also work with the inventory on-hand for an individual product from the new Inventory tab on the Product details page.

When working with variant products, you can also view the on-hand inventory for each variant from the Variant panel on the Variant-Source Product details page.

This latest addition to Product Desk lets you efficiently manage product inventory across multiple locations, adding yet another way to streamline your business operations. Product inventory management is accessible across multiple pages within Product Desk allowing you quick and easy access to the information you need.
